2019; A DETERMINING FACTOR FOR THE FUTURE

As citizens of this country, looking at how far we have come and where we are, you'll agree with me that we as a people are not satisfied. We are not satisfied with the present economy, security, level of leadership and the kind of leaders that we breed and then allow to rule us, the level of seriousness in handling issues either national or international.

In most recent times, we've all had experiences that has shaped the way we handle issues, see things and most of all our relationship with people, especially people of different culture and tradition.

One truth (probably bitter), is that the excessive negatives that we have experienced collectively were caused by the actions and inactions of our leaders who rode on our backs and handed to us empty promises that we Innocently received.

The general elections next year will be a time when we have to onerously and unanimously agree to vote in the right people who will truly attend to national issue that affect even the least person without fear or favor.

Let's do our best to make sure we don't give into bribery on the day of election. Let's also urge that the electoral body INEC to organize an open debate for presidential candidates so that the people will really know and vote for the right person in whose hands our lives will be placed.
